Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s anomic book they’ll love, the annual event offers a huge selection of free titles designed to appeal to a broad range of age levels and their tastes.

Everyone loves a parade—especially a hometown procession that brings the community together. Participants include school marching bands, Polynesian dance students, Shriners driving mini cars, plus other school, nonprofit and church groups; and thousands of parade-goers lining the route cheering everyone on.

The 2024 Walking tour will start at the Laguna Beach County Water District. The building’s gorgeous “MediterraneanRevival” style building built in 1927 is now the permanent host venue for the Laguna Beach Garden Club Gate & Garden Tour.
