How am I handling Real Estate during Covid?

With all of the changes happening due to Covid, there are several things that have changed.
1. Entry Guidelines - The California Board of Realtors is now requiring a Property Entry Advisory and Declaration (PEAD) to see properties. They are also requiring gloves, booties, & face masks to be worn when entering homes as well to help prevent the spread.
2. No Open Houses - Even though Real Estate agents have been deemed essential we are still limited in the activities we can perform. At this time no in person open houses are being allowed for obvious reasons.
3. Increased Marketing - During this time I have made the decision to increase my marketing efforts. This included hiring someone to handle marketing of all properties
4. Adoption of Virtual Services - Since there are limitations on being able to meet with my clients, contractors, and colleagues I am utilizing virtual services when possible now. This includes the use of video conferencing, digital signings, and virtual showings. This ensures everyone stays safe and enhances many of the conveniences of being able to do business from the comfort of wherever you are.

6 Reasons Why This Is Actually the Best Time
in Years To Sell a House

Via: Realtor.com

Talk about a strange summer. Between the continued threat of the novel coronavirus, a wobbly economy, and layoffs happening left and right, it's no surprise that many who may have hoped to sell their home this season are wondering whether to put those plans on hold—or they've already thrown in the towel.

Such hesitancy is understandable. Yet the irony is that, after closely examining the current housing market conditions, many real estate experts believe this summer could be one of the best times to sell a home in years.

"Given the pandemic and uncertainty it's caused, the general sentiment [among some owners] is that now is not a good time to sell your home," says Danielle Hale, chief economist at realtor.com. "Yet so far, the data suggest the opposite—that buyers outnumber sellers in the housing market, which means it's better to be a seller than a buyer.”

So if you're a home seller who assumed they should write off this summer's home-selling season as a lost cause, it's time for a reality check! Here are a few reasons why the market could actually be moving strongly in your favor.
